Furniture FactoriesBowland Products represent a number of Polish furniture manufacturers in the UK and offer a comprehensive selection of furniture from a number of factories. Why Poland & Europe?Producing furniture in Poland and Europe has a number of advantages over production in the UK or Far East. Labour cost in Poland is significantly less than in the UK. The saving in this is reflected in the price of the furniture. Production & order lead times are 3-6 weeks with a standard delivery lead time of 1 week means that should a range sell significantly more than forecast or suffer a severe lack of demand, the reaction time to resolve the issue can be as little as 4 weeks. Poland is a short 2 hour flight away. Our factories are modern, well equipped production facilities with the latest machinery and production techniques. All the factories have strict working practices and safety procedures which not only ensure high quality products with few damages but also that employees have a safe and healthy working environment. All wood used in the furniture is from sustainable sources and can be traced back to where it came from. By careful design of the packaging, the use of unrecycleable materials is kept to the bare minimum. We also strongly encourage recycling of the packaging. For more information please see our environmental information page DesignOur factories offer a wide range of products from commodity foil flatpack products and purpose designed melamine finished units to leather upholstered dining chairs and high quality office solutions. Bowland Products' manufacturers have their own in house designers who, working with Bowland Products and retailers can tailor existing furniture or design new products to meet any specific requirement. In addition to this, we have a UK based designer with whom we regularly develop new ranges for our customers. He has a wealth of experience from working in the UK furniture for over 10 years.
